Privacy Policy

This policy explains what Edison Pereira da Costa Filho, trading as Guppylab, does with personal data. It covers this website and the purchase and support of our software.

1. What we collect

When you email us. Your email address and whatever you write. We use it to answer you.

When you buy. The order is processed by Paddle.com, our Merchant of Record. Paddle collects your payment details, billing address and tax location. We never see your card details. Paddle passes us your name, email address and country so we can issue your licence and support you.

When you use the licence. Our Composer repository logs the licence key used and the package requested, so we can tell a valid installation from an abusive one.

2. What we do not do

This website has no analytics, no advertising and no third-party trackers. It sets no cookies. We do not sell or rent personal data, and we do not use it to profile you.

3. Why we may process it

To perform the contract with you (delivering and supporting what you bought), to comply with tax and accounting obligations, and for the legitimate interest of keeping our service from being abused.

4. How long we keep it

Order and licence records are kept as long as the licence is valid and afterwards for as long as tax law requires. Support email is kept while it is useful for supporting you. Repository access logs are kept for twelve months.

5. Who else sees it

Paddle.com, which processes the order and has its own privacy policy. Our email provider. Our hosting provider. Nobody else, unless the law requires it.

Because Paddle operates internationally, your data may be processed outside your country, under the safeguards described in Paddle's own policy.

6. Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we process it. Write to suporte@guppylab.com.br and we will answer within thirty days.

These rights come from the Brazilian General Data Protection Law (LGPD, Law 13.709/2018) and, where it applies to you, the GDPR. If you believe we mishandled your data, you may complain to the ANPD in Brazil or to your local supervisory authority.

7. Changes

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
